When you visit our website, the following information is automatically collected and stored in server log files:

2.2 Account Registration

When you register for an account, we collect and process the information you provide, including your name, email address, and other account details. This data is used to provide you with access to our platform and its features. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

2.3 Checklist and Questions Form

When you ask for the portfolio review checklist on our website, we store your name, email address, and, if you enter them, your studio or company and your question, together with the campaign that brought you to the page (for example the ad or post you clicked, kept in your browser for up to 30 days and sent only with this form). We use these details to email you the checklist and to answer your question. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in knowing which campaigns reach studios). Write to us to have the details deleted.

2.4 Analytics

We measure the reach of this website with Umami, open-source analytics that we host ourselves on a server in Germany. No third party receives the data, and nothing is sold or used for advertising. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for analytics; it does not track you across sites or devices and builds no visitor profile. Visits are told apart by an identifier made from a hash with a rotating salt. Your IP address is used briefly for that and for a country lookup, and is not stored. Do Not Track is honoured.

Umami records the page address and title, the referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country, time, and named interactions such as a button click. The signed-in app is not measured. For these reasons we show no consent banner.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving the website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object under Art. 21 GDPR with this switch. Your choice is stored in this browser's local storage under umami.disabled and applies to this browser only.
